• What would you do with a child his age all day? This gives

insight into their childcare approach and helps make sure it aligns with what

families are looking for.

• What do you consider the most important responsibility about

this job? This questions will demonstrate their level of passion for working

with children, and helps families decide if they are on the same page as the

nanny.

• Have you ever had to call 911 or handle an emergency? This

gives insight into what they determine to be an emergency, how responsible they

are, and how they handle stressful situations.

• How do you feel about doing extra things we may ask?-

from doing this job? It can be difficult on parents AND children to change

nannies, understanding the potential of any medical issues arising can help the

family make an informed decision, or give them the ability to plan ahead for
