I spent ten years working as a nanny before I had kids of my own. I started Twinkle Toes because I couldn't find a qualified nanny unless I paid a $5,000 fee. And even then the nanny was only guaranteed for 3 months. I soon realized that wasn't a good deal for the family, so I decided to do it differently at Twinkle Toes. While I was rewriting the family side of nanny agencies, I decided to rewrite the nanny experience too. I worked for 2 surgeons, and I was not allowed to get sick! I went to work with the flu, strep, pink eye, you name it. There was nobody to cover for me, so I went to work sick so the parents could continue to do their jobs. I missed a vacation with my family one summer because there was no backup and the parents had busy surgery schedules that week.

I built Twinkle Toes to be the agency I wished I'd worked for back then. An agency with a real person on your side who you can call when things get tough. One where the nannies are cared for just as much as the kids. One where nannies don't have to do everything on their own.

Today, every Twinkle Toes location shares the same commitment to helping nannies find a job they love and that fits into their life.
