Interview & Vetting Process
A face to face interview with Twinkle Toes so we can get to know each other. We'll verify your references and run a standard national background check.

Review Family Profiles
See details on families near you and choose the ones you'd like to meet.

Meet Families
Sit down with the families you picked and decide who's the right fit.
What we look for
- 18 years or older
- At least 2 years of professional childcare experience
- CPR & First Aid certified
- Clean background check
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Strong references from families or childcare employers
Frequently asked
- Do I need a degree in early childhood?
- No. Real hands-on experience matters more, though early childhood coursework is a plus.
- Can I work with more than one family?
- Yes. Many of our nannies split time across two or three families to build a full schedule.
- What if the first family isn't a good fit?
- We can coach you and the family through it, or we can rematch you.
- Do you offer training?
- We only hire experienced childcare providers, but most locations we offer optional continuing education courses periodically.
- How long until I'm placed?
- How quickly you're placed depends on how quickly we are able to verify your references. Most locations have families ready and waiting to meet you!
